Ghislain Kaiser
Co-founder, CEO
Ghislain is the CEO and co-founder of DOCEA Power. He has more than 10 years of experience in the micro-electronics industry, where
he specialized in power management. Prior to founding DOCEA Power, Ghislain worked for STMicroelectronics as senior system architect on wireless applications and before that as project leader for the set-top box division. Ghislain has an engineering diploma from Supelec (Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité, France), completed with the 1-year program in innovative business management from HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Paris, France). He is also an alumni of the business management department of CNAM (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers).
Sylvian Kaiser
Co-founder, CTO
Sylvian is the CTO and co-founder of DOCEA Power. He previously worked at Infineon then TTPCom, covering multiple aspects of modem circuit design like system and algorithm definition, embedded software development and validation on FPGA and silicon. At TTPCom, he also dealt with customer support for 2.5G products. Sylvian is a graduate of SupTelecom (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, Paris, France). The program in start-up management held at France's leading business school HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) and a qualification in economics from CNAM (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers) complete his education.
Ridha Hamza
Sales and Marketing Director
Ridha joined DOCEA Power as Sales and Marketing Director in early 2010. Prior to joining DOCEA, he spent two years at Yole Développement, a market research company that is a reference in the MEMS and 3D IC industry where he was in charge of EDA and emerging MEMS market research and analysis. Before this, he has accumulated more than 8 years of experience in the EDA industry spent with MEMSCAP and SoftMEMS, where he took part in the development and commercialization of innovative MEMS design solutions. He was granted a Masters Degree in Microelectronics in 1998.
Gene Matter
Senior Applications Manager
Gene held numerous positions in technical marketing, architecture and strategic product planning for low power, high performance microprocessors and core logic chipsets from 1988-2011 at Intel Corporation. He has been involved in personal computing since the 16-bit to 32-bit “revolution” starting with early CPM-based systems, super minis and IBM-PC XT/AT compatible machines. His work has been in mobile/personal computing systems architecture. He has worked on Intel Architecture and ARM SoCs/wireless technologies. He graduated from University of Florida, Gainesville in 1978. He holds numerous patents in systems architecture related to memory, power management and bus interfaces. He resides in Northern California with his wife and two children.
Stéphane Guédon
Engineering Manager
After a PhD at INPG in Grenoble and a first experience at the CEA in Signal Processing research, Stéphane worked as a software project manager for Getris in the image-processing domain and afterwards for the European Research Center of Xerox. He then joined the EDA startup company Snaketech in 2000 as software manager. Following the Simplex(US) and Cadence(US) acquisitions, he developed numerical calculus algorithms for various physical verification tools. Veteran of the EDA, he co-founded the french EdXact company in 2004 as Director of R&D, author of the technology for accelerating the physical verification of sub-100-nm designs. Stéphane left EdXact in 2007 and has since joined DOCEA Power to make benefit of his experience in EDA software production.
